Life - Death - Africa


This film is a study of the animals of East Africa set in time to specifically composed electronic music. Made from footage shot on location in the national parks of Kenya and Tanzania, it contains no narration and its study in the lyricism of the movements as well as the life cycles of all living creatures which inhabit planet earth.  

This film has won the first prize for travel at the Cannes Film Festival, a Certificate of Merit at the Golden Knight International Film Festival at Malta, a medal at the Hiroshima, Japan, International Film Festival, a Natural Science Award at the Canadian International Film Festival, and a Special Medal for Outstanding Cinematography at the Algarve, Spain, International Film Festival.
